Sundarbans Boat Rent Charges

Our boat is a 6 Cylinder launch boat having an IWTA (Inland Waterways Transport Authority) approved licenced capacity to host 50 guests. To avail the services of "Sundarbans Rent a Boat" apart from the Normal Daily rental, the following ADDITIONAL COSTS AS IMPOSED BY THE SUNDARBAN NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITIES have to be incurred: 

• BOAT RENTAL CHARGES @ Rs.10,000 per day, PLUS
• BOAT ENTRY FEES @ Rs.1200 per day+ HOLIDAY CHARGES WHEREVER APPLICABLE  
• MAN PERMISSION @ Rs.120 per day per person
• GUIDE CHARGES @ Rs.600 per day + One time Way Charge @ Rs.200

THE SAME BOAT WOULD CRUISE THROUGH THE NARROW CREEKS AND CANALS OF THE SUNDERBAN TIGER RESERVE DURING THE DAY TIME AND ANCHOR AT NIGHT FOR OVERNIGHT STAY ON THE BOAT/RESORT  

Sundarbans Boat Hire Charges - MEAL Costs

We do not allow outside Catering on our boat. Food is supplied on the boat itself at the following rates 

• Breakfast @ Rs.175 per person
• Lunch @ Rs.650 per person (Comprising of : Rice, Roti, Dal, Two Seasonal vegetables, One Fish Preparation excluding Mutton, Crab and Prawns, Salad, Papad, Chutney Achar, Sweets. Additional cost for Hilsa and Crab preparations) 
• Evening Snacks comprising of 1 Veg and 1 Non Veg Snacks, Tea /Coffee : Rs.250, 
• Dinner @ Rs.650 per person (Comprising of : Rice, Roti, Dal, One Seasonal vegetables, One Chicken Preparation, Salad, Papad, Chutney Achar, Sweets. 
• Additional cost for Mutton preparations

We serve a variety of (Vegetarian as well as Non vegetarian) Indian cuisines and delicacies like North Indian, South Indian, Gujrat as well as Jain cuisines (Both Vegetarian as well as Non-vegetarian. No outside food is allowed in our boat nor is kitchen facility made available upon renting the boat.  These are the additional costs over the Sundarbans Boat Hire Charges

Sundarban Boat Rent for Overnight Stay

Houseboat M V INDIA BEACONS is one of the finest boats available  for overnight stay at Sundarbans. The boat sails from 8:00 hrs in the morning till 16:00 hrs in the evening. thereafter, the boat anchors in the middle of the river. Please note, that for overnight hire, the boat will be anchored OUTSIDE the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve.  The crew members reserves the absolute right to anchor it at any safe place they deem fit. 

Please note that we do not conduct Night Safari inside the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve. 

For the records, our non AC Houseboat M.V INDIA BEACONS is an INLAND WATERWAYS AUTHORITY (IWT) CERTIFIED, 6 cylinder boat with all the safety aspects expected of a Tourist boat. It has sufficient number of LIFE JACKETS, LIFEBUOYS, FIRE EXTINGUISHERS as well as sufficient spares to offer you a safe and comfortable stay.

We have facilities for food and our Chef would be glad to prepare fresh, lip smacking delicacies in front of your eyes. Our chefs can serve a variety of menus ranging from North Indian, South Indian, Bengali as well as veg/Jain food for our guests.
