SUNDARBANS TOUR PACKAGE CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

SUNDARBANS TOUR PACKAGE CANCELLATION POLICY:-
Time is the essence of a Contract and so is the Cancellation of Tour Package. Cancellation policy becomes applicable once a package is cancelled for whatsoever reason like illness - minor or major, apprehension of spread of epidemic or apprehension of any other kind, or for late arrival of flight, train or any other reason, whatever it is, even if it happens due to no fault of the person booking the package. 

Non arrival/participation at the reporting time and date would also be deemed to be a Cancelled package and the Cancellation Policy would apply. 

A written intimation is required to be furnished to cancel a booking. Verbal, Telephone, Mobile call or Text messages on any platform or any other messenger including Whattsapp is not accepted. 

Intimation for Cancellation of Tour package would be deemed to have been made only if written communication is received by India Beacons by way of Hand delivery of a letter of Cancellation in our office or an Email is received by us only from the email ID the communication for confirmation was received by the person making the booking. 

Since we do not advocate the use of Whattsapp/Text Message for OFFICIAL PURPOSES, we do neither confirm, not accept communication of cancellation of a Tour package in Whattsapp/Text Message or any other messaging platform. 

The General rules of cancellation of a tour package are: 

(a) If written intimation of Cancellation is received at least 30 days or more in advance from the date of START OF THE TOUR PACKAGE, then 30% of Total Bill amount will be charged as cancellation fees. Balance 70% would be refunded. 
                  Kindly note, Cancellation Policy is applicable on the Entire Bill Amount and not on any Advance Amount or any part payment made for the confirmation of tour package. GST amount would not be refunded under any circumstances. 

(b) If written intimation of Cancellation is received within a period of 29 days and 15 days of the date of START OF THE TOUR PACKAGE, 50% of the Total Bill will be charged as cancellation Fees. Balance 50% would be refunded. 
                 Kindly note, Cancellation Policy is applicable on the Entire Bill Amount and not on any Advance Amount or any part payment made for the confirmation of tour package. GST amount would not be refunded under any circumstances. 

(c) No refund is allowed if written intimation of cancellation is received within 14 days of date of START OF THE TOUR PACKAGE. 

(d) Kindly note that the Cancellation Policy would apply even if India Beacons has not incurred any expenses by way of any payment made for booking of hotel rooms, vehicles, boat rentals or for any other facilities required for the tour package. Non-payment of any expense by India Beacons Sojourn is not a ground for returning money. The Cancellation Policy would prevail in case of any Cancellation. 

You are hereby requested to take note of the CANCELLATION POLICY and understand it properly before confirming your booking. Neither future deviation from the mentioned Cancellation Policy nor any request for non-applicability of Cancellation Policy on any grounds would be entertained. 
REFUND PAYABLE AFTER APPLICATION OF CANCELLATION POLICY:-
Refund, if payable after application of cancellation Policy, will be made one month after the date of cancellation of booking. 

Refund, will be paid by Cheque/online transfer and by no other mode of payment only to the account from which the money was received.
EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION CLAUSE:-
Disputes, if any, arising will be subject to Kolkata jurisdiction for redress ONLY. This should not be construed as a contravention of Sec 28 of the Indian Contract Act.
