Sundarban Boat Rental:

We offer boat rentals for Sundarban from Godhkhali on a per day basis.Our Motor Boats are 6 Cylinder Government Licenced, well equipped modern boats with sitting capacity on the deck for 45 persons and overnight stay facility in the boat for a maximum of 08 persons (Extra Charges for Overnight stay on the boat).

Terms :

To avail the services of "Rent a Boat" the following additional costs have to be incurred:

Meal Plan @ Rs.450 per person under APAI Plan (Bed Tea + Breakfast + Lunch + Evening snacks + Dinner)

We serve typical Bengali cuisines (Both Vegetarian as well as Non-vegetarian. No outside food is allowed in our boat nor is kitchen facility made available upon renting the boat.

Motor Boat Entry fees @ Rs.200.00 per day or as specified by the Forest department (To be paid directly to the Forest department)

Entry tickets for the touring group along with the Entry fees of 04 number of Boat crew @ Rs.40.00 per day or as specified by the Forest department (To be paid directly to the Forest department)

"Rent a boat" cost does not include the cost of any personal or travel insurance. Passengers are advised to take personal insurance on their own.

Foreigner's Entry Fees (If any) to be paid directly to the Forest Department.

Camera charges (As imposed by the Forest department) has to be paid directly to the Forest Department.

For boats rented on per day basis, maximum boat hire hours inclusive of anchorage time and waiting time at watch towers or any other place is 11 hours per day.For usage over 11 hrs, additional rent for another half day will be charged.Please note that no movement in the Sundarban Tiger Reserve area is allowed after 6:30 p.m. (Indian Standard Time).

Our boat does have overnight stay facility for a maximum of 08 persons. Overnight stay in the boat is chargeable @ Rs.600 per person per night over and above the rental for the day. Please note in case, you have hired the boat for a day along with overnight stay,checkout time is 08:00 hrs the following morning, unless you have also hired our boat for the next day as well.

Navigational direction is the sole discretion of the boat crew as cruising in the Sundarbans is dependent upon the timings of tide and avoiding shallow rivers and creeks.

For overnight hire, the boat will not be anchored inside the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve. The crew members reserves the absolute right to anchor it at any safe place they deem fit.

Please note that we do not conduct Night Safari inside the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve.
